EasyPrep™ EndoFree Plasmid Maxiprep Kit provides a simple, fast and cost effective method to purify plasmid DNAs from bacterial culture, when amount of the plasmid DNA needed is about 1,000 µg. The kit is especially convenient to use when multiple plasmids need to be purified at the same time, as the use of traditional commercial kits is time-consuming.
Key to the kit is our proprietary DNA binding systems that allow the high efficient DNA binding while proteins and other impurities are removed by wash buffer. Nucleic acids are easily eluted with Elution Buffer. Our proprietary endotoxin removal buffer, Buffer RET, is designed to remove endotoxin by a single washing step without tedious phase partitioning steps. The purified plasmid DNA, with endotoxin level less than 0.1 EU per µg of DNA, is ready for transfection of endotoxin sensitive cell lines and microinjections.
