3 μl or 5 μl per loading for clear visualization during electrophoresison 15-well or 10-well mini-gel, respectively.
1.5~2.5 μl per well for general Western transferring.
Apply more for thicker (> 1.5 mm) or larger gel.
The ladder is supplied in gel loading buffer and is ready to use. Do not heat, dilute, or add reducing agent before loading.
Description: The All Blue Prestained Protein Ladder I is a protein standard with 10 pre-stained proteins covering a wide range molecular weightsfor 10 to 180 kDa. Proteins are covalently coupled with a blue chromophore and two reference bands ( 25 kDa and 72 kDa respectively) when separated on SDS-PAGE (Tris-glycine buffer). The All Blue Prestained Protein Ladder I is designed for monitoring protein separated during SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, verification of Western transfer efficiency on membranes (PVDF, nylon, or nitrocellulose) and for approximate sizing of proteins.
Contents: Approximately 0.2~0.4 mg/ml of each protein in the buffer (20 mM Tris-phosphate, pH 7.5 at 25°C), 2 % SDS, 1 mM 2-mercaptoethanol, 3.6M Urea, and 15 % (v/v) Glycerol).
Quality Control: Under suggested conditions, All Blue Prestained Protein Ladder I resolves10 major bands in polyacrylamide gel with appropriate buffers andafterWestern blotting to nitrocellulose membrane.
Storage:
Stable at 25°C for 2 weeks
Stable at 4°C for 3 months
Stable at -20°C for 24 months
The One-for-All (0.1-10 kb) DNA Ladder is a ready-to-use DNA ladder, which is pre-mixed with loading dye for direct loading on gel. The DNA Ladder is composed of 19 individual DNA fragments: 10k, 8k, 6k, 5k, 4k, 3k, 2.5k, 2k, 1.5k, 1k, 900, 800, 700, 600, 500, 400, 300, 200, and 100 bp derived from a mixture of PCR products and specifically digested plasmid DNA. This product contains three enhanced bands (3 kb, 1.5 kb and 500 bp) for easy referencing. In addition, three tracking dyes, Xylene cyanol FF, Bromophenol blue and Orange G which mimic the migration of 4,000 bp, 500 bp and 50 bp dsDNA during electrophoresis are also added for real time monitoring.

The EasyPrepTM Bacterial gDNA kit provides a rapid and reliable method for isolating high-quality total cellular DNA from a wide variety of bacterial species. Bacterial cells are grown to log-phase and harvested. The bacterial cell wall is digested by lysozyme and Proteinase K. Following lysis, binding conditions are adjusted and the sample is applied to a DNA column.
Key to this kit is our proprietary DNA binding system that allows the high efficient binding of DNA to the membrane while proteins and other contaminates are removed under optimal conditions. Nucleic acids are easily eluted with sterile water or Elution Buffer. Purified DNA is suitable for PCR, restriction digestion, and hybridization techniques. Each DNA column can bind approximately 100 μg genomic DNA and process up to 1 x 109 bacterial cells. The system combines the reversible nucleic acid-binding properties of membrane matrix with the speed and versatility of spin column technology to yield up to approximately 15-30 μg of DNA with an OD260/280 ratio of 1.7-1.9. The kit will isolate all cellular DNA, including plasmid DNA.
